Cabbage Fry

  • ½ head medium green cabbage-sliced (core removed)

  • 1 X small brown onion-diced

  • 5 X button mushrooms-sliced

  • 2 X cloves garlic -crushed

  • 2 X strips streaky bacon-diced

  • 2 X TBS butter


  • Slice and dice ingredients

  • Heat a fry pan-med/high heat

  • Add bacon until fat starts to coat the pan

  • Add butter-melt

  • Add all other ingredients and fry to your preferred texture

  • Serve as a side to meat/eggs/chicken

  • Note: Save a serve to add to Cabbage Fry Frittata for lunch/breakfast the next day

Serves 4 as a side dish
